PA Training
New Economy
The importance of training in today's world should not be underplayed as it is crucial that we as a population seek to equip ourselves with the skills that are required in the new economy. Global competition has completely changed the dynamics of the way that businesses operate and the increased competition that we see from businesses around the world means that companies have to be at their most productive if they are able to compete with the key competitors in their sector. One of the ways in which a business can become more productive is to provide effective training for its staff. This is certainly something that is being seized upon by the Government as they seek to change legislation to make the skills agenda more tailored to the needs of businesses. They will do this by working in closer conjunction with businesses and allowing them to take control of the provision of much of the skills agenda. It is hoped that by doing this they will provide the skills that businesses actually require, whereas in the past some training may have been irrelevant to the needs of a business. This may well have been the case for secretarial courses and PA training, just as it may have been with higher level skills.
PA Training
Skills Base
It is absolutely crucial that the UK seeks to raise the level of its skills base if it is to obtain what the Government hopes will be a highly skilled population which competes with the best in the world. At the minute this is simply not the case as whilst the country has a similar number of graduates as countries such as the United State and Germany, it has a much larger number of people who simply have no qualifications whatsoever. This is what can make things such as secretarial courses and PA training so important. In places such as Blackpool, over twenty percent of the population have no qualifications whatsoever and this is hampering levels of productivity within the town. Further to this, it means that businesses are unwilling to invest as the population simply does not have the required skills to carry out many roles. This is a situation that needs to be urgently addressed in towns such as Blackpool as the importance of skills is going to grow and grow as the skills required for the majority of jobs will be higher and higher. This will especially be the case for Level 1 qualifications so it will be increasingly important that people look to obtain a qualification at Level 2 or above.
Standing Out
There are a number of companies that are able to offer training such as secretarial courses and PA training and these can give people the skills that are required to stand out from the competition and make an impact in the workplace.
